My name is Lion Stranius. I 'm working as a Clime Specialiser at The Suomi Association for Nature Preservation which is the large environmental NGO here in Suomi. Our organisation is a member of Clime Action Web International, which groups 450 environmental NGOs worldwide and actively participates in the UNFCCC procedure.

We must happen a common savvy on an ambitious and binding world-wide clime understanding this December in Copenhagen. Yet, the indicants so far are worrying. Emanations are turning much quicker than previse even in IPCC 's worst-case scenarios.

Mr. Secretary-General, we take dedicated clime leaders. Permit me give you some representatives.

The metropolis of Kobenhavn, which will host the Clime Tiptop in December, holds pledged to go the universe 's first C impersonal capital. The Swedish authorities holds assured to cut emanations by 40 % by 2020. And Norway should get C impersonal by 2030.

How about Finland? Unfortunately, Finland makes not appear to be among the Nordic clime leaders. Our authorities holds advised to cut emanations justly from 5 to 10 % below 1990 grades by 2020. This is not plenty.

What should the international clime understanding look like?

- It must be based on climate science to hold planetary warming goodly below 2 C.

- In developing commonwealths emanation difference from BAU should be at least -30 % by 2020.
- We should attain gross-zero deforestation by 2020.
- We must make a robust model to support global climate change version in developing nations.

The enquiry is: Are we the first contemporaries which will take obligation for action asked to battle global climate change or are we the last one that sham that zilch holds modified?
